Microsoft Release Media Player of Firefox

Tilak | Web/Tech | Friday, April 20th, 2007

Microsoft has announced the release of its Windows Media Player for Mozilla Firefox web browser. The plug-in, available on Firefox’s add-on site, is compatible with the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the XP SP2 and Vista OSes. This new add-on lets web surfers use Windows Media Player to view multimedia content in Firefox.

Firefox 3.0, the next upgrade of the browser, is scheduled for release later this year.
