Now LinkedIn comes with complete redesign home page. It is nice and clean. Its system navigation is extremely userfriendly which helps mange your professional network and similar to Facebook.

LinkedIn is giving you quick and immediate access to the majority of the personal items on left-hand side bar. LinkedIn includes three customizable modules. The modules are limited to People Search, Job Search, and LinkedIn Answers.

Damage International Submarine Cable

From yesterday I have been facing slower Internet connection but today my Internet service provider informed me the reason behind slow browsing.

Due to damage of submarine cable systems, we are having difficulty to accessing the Internet or experience slow browsing and to making international calls.

This failure has affected Gulf Arab region, Egypt, India and other countries as well. Egypt’ 70% of Internet network was down, while India reported it has cut 50% to 60% in bandwidth.

Nobody know how the cables were cut or weather was a factor because Storms had forced Egypt to close the northern mouth of the Suez canal on Tuesday.

It is expected to full restoration would take 10 to 15 days.

Indian Republic Day

Hope you all did something nice today. Today, India celebrated its 58th Republic Day. In 26th January 1950 the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign state. In this day India became a totally republican unit.

I am proud person being Indian origin. Have a Happy Republic Day folks, Jai Hind!!

Add Indian Bank Account With PayPal For Withdrawls

PayPal has added new withdrawals features for its Indian members.

You can directly withdraw funds from PayPal to your Indian bank account.

At the moment you can transfer your money in following banks:

  • State Bank of India
  • Bank of India
  • Canara Bank
  • Union Bank of India
  • HDFC Bank
  • ICICI Bank
  • ING VYSYA Bank
  • Axis Bank (UTI Bank)
  • Standard Chartered Bank
  • HSBC
  • Citibank

If your withdrawl amounts less than 7000 Rupees, there will be a fee of 50 Rupees but NO FEE for more than 7000 Rupees. It will take minimum 5 to 7 business days depending on your bank’s policies.

For adding a bank account with PayPal, you need IFSC code, account number of your bank’s branch. Click here to download the IFSC codes of Indian banks.
