Google Bought A Mobile Social Network, Jaiku
Google acquired a mobile social network, Jaiku. It works similar to Twitter, the service that made the concept of microblogging successful, but Jaiku also lets you add feeds from other sites and mix them with your messages. Like in Twitter, you can add a list of contacts and see an overview of their latest updates.
Refreshing Look Of Webmaster Central
Yesterday, Google has launched a new look of the Webmaster Central. It was launched back in August 2006. All the tools and resources you still find there but now they have added few more for webmasters. In refreshing look they have added Webmaster Blog, Analyze your visitors, custome search functionality, Google Gadgets, Google developer tools and discussion group as well.
It is useful and easier to find some additional resources for webmasters so that webmaster enhance their site’s functionality.
Google Speaking In More Languages
Google has recently announced that now Google Desktop for the Mac is available in 9 more languages: Chinese Simplified and Traditional, Dutch, UK English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish.
Few months back Google has launched Google Desktop for Mac users.
BTY, Google products currently support more than 170 languages. Sign up Google Language Tools page. After verifcation on the Google in Your Language link you will be offered a list of products to translate include main search site, Gmail, iGoogle and many others.
Recently we have added a bunch of new languages to the Google In Your Language program, including Navajo, Filipino, several Russian Federation languages (Avaric, Chechen, Chuvash, Komi), and some African languages (Akan, Bambara, Gikuyu, Kongo, Ndebele, Ndongo, Nyanja, Venda). Since Google is available in 170+ languages, it is more userfriendly than Yahoo! or any other search engines.
Non-English Domains Supports By Google Webmaster Tools
On August 27th Google Webmaster Tools has announced they they support adding non-English domain names, by supporting Internationalizing Domain Names in Applications (IDNA) at to Google Webmaster Central.
If you want to add domain like http://????.cn/, you will be able to add it in Google Webmaster Tools.
